IT didn't take long for Fernando Alonso to spit his dummy out at Renault.
Last week, after completing just 114 laps in his new car, the former double world champ made it known he was unhappy with the Renault R28.
He also let it be known that he has a get out clause in his current contract - openly inviting interest from other teams.
Alonso once spoke of Renault as being like a family. Maybe that's why this move looks to be the behaviour of a spoilt brat.
Where will he go?
His hopes are undoubtedly pinned on a Ferrari drive for 2009.
But Kimi is going nowhere, so the Spaniard would have to adjust to life driving a car alongside the fastest man in F1.
In a team notorious for bestowing number one status on its fastest driver.
So far Alonso's F1 career trajectory appears to be following the one pioneered by Jacques Villeneuve.
