WHEN TALKING to youngsters about eating healthy, they often think that this means they cannot have the foods they love; burgers, sausages and chicken nuggets, but The Darlington Young Bulls Under 11’s team have been working with one of the club’s valued sponsors, Alderson Butchers of Cockerton to create a product fit for a footballer.

The Young Bulls protein packs, available from Alderson Butchers contain extra lean burgers, sausages and chicken nuggets; all freshly made using the best cuts of meat and they’re not just for the kids. For those who are currently using one of the popular diet plans or thinking about it, the packs are ideal and highly recommended.

At Young Bulls we want the players and coaches to enjoy the foods they love alongside being active and keeping fit and healthy. We want football and food to be equally enjoyable.

Darlington Young Bulls; a FA Charter Standard Football Club currently have six teams competing within the Teesside Junior Football Alliance. All our teams have qualified FA coaches, each holding a DBS certificate.

Young Bulls has seen a rapid growth spurt over the last three years and we’re taking on new players. If you have a child who is in years three to five at school and they want to play football then we want to help. We’re hosting a series of free open training sessions with the first being on Saturday 18th February at 9.30am until 11.30am.

If you want to come and play football then all you need is a pair of boots and some shin pads; come along to Darlington Football and Rugby Club, Blackwell Meadows, Grange Road, Darlington and we’ll be happy to see you.
