I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree with the comments made by Colin Hobson (SHAS, April 21) regarding Neil Wainwright.
How can a player suddenly go from being player of the year one season, to virtual obscurity the next? Wainwright is a great winger who is willing to run at defenders and has the skill and capability of getting past them.
With the play-offs looming it is hoped that this is not going to be another season of woe. I hope that Dave Penney has the common sense to at least play Wainwright in the play-offs?
