THOUSANDS of Sunderland fans turned up at the Stadium of Light on Monday to watch the Black Cats train.
The club threw open the gates with half-term in full effect and 5,000 people took advantage of the offer to watch their heroes in action.
Manager David Moyes put his squad through their paces as they prepared for their trip to Everton in the Premier League at the weekend.
There was music and entertainment in and around the stadium prior to the session, including face-painting and football-themed activities for young supporters. Stadium concourse facilities were also open.
