IF Jurgen Klopp takes over at Liverpool in the next 48 hours then his first trip to Sunderland has been rearranged for television scheduling.
The Black Cats will now face Liverpool on December 30 at 7.45pm and will be screened on Sky Sports. It was originally planned to take place two days earlier on December 28.
If the Reds' talks with Klopp later today go according to plan then former Borussia Dortmund boss Klopp will be heading for the Stadium of Light for the first time when the two clubs meet.
By that time Sunderland, who are looking for a new boss themselves after Dick Advocaat's decision to quit, will also have a different boss in place. Sam Allardyce continues to be the front-runner, with Nigel Pearson and Sean Dyche two of the leading alternatives.
