THIERRY HENRY has hailed the "fantastic atmosphere" at the Stadium of Light in his last Premier League game for Arsenal, but he hinted the game might not be his last for the Gunners.

Henry ended his final Premier League game at the North London club by scoring the winning goal as Arsenal came from behind to beat Sunderland 2-1.

The Frenchman will return to the New York Red Bulls on Thursday after the Gunners' midweek Champions League quarter-final tie with AC Milan.

And Henry, who has scored three times since returning to the club he originally spent eight years at, appreciated the reception he got after being cheered by the home fans while warming up.

"It was an amazing feeling. It has always been a pleasure to come here to Sunderland," Henry said.

"When I was warming up the fans near me started clapping. I have always found this a very special place to play football.

"It was a fantastic atmosphere and overall it was so special for me, with it being my last game in the Premier League. To be able to celebrate with all the Arsenal fans, who have come such a long way - it really was magical.

"I knew when the final whistle blew that this was my last game in the Premier League, but I guess you can never say never. I never thought I was going to come back and play for Arsenal.

"Who knows if I can say that this was definitely the end, it could be different. Who knows?"
