LEE CATTERMOLE returns to Sunderland's starting line-up as the already-relegated Black Cats look to spring a surprise at Arsenal tonight.

Cattermole and Bryan Oviedo return to the side as David Moyes makes two changes to the team that started Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Swansea.

The pair replace injured duo Jason Denayer and Victor Anichebe, who drop out of the side that kicked off against the Swans.

The switches will almost certainly necessitate a change of formation, with Sunderland set to start in a 5-4-1 formation.

Oviedo and Javier Manquillo are expected to start as wing-backs, with Billy Jones playing at centre-half along with John O'Shea and Lamine Kone.

Alexis Sanchez has been passed fit to start for Arsenal, who need to win to keep their hopes of a place in next season's Champions League alive.
