ADNAN JANUZAJ is wanted by French club Lyon this month, even though he is on a season long loan at Sunderland.

The 21-year-old has become a key player for David Moyes because of injuries and absentees in the Black Cats' battle to stay up.

But Lyon's reported interest, emanating from across the English Channel in the respected L'Equipe, will pose Moyes a dilemma if there is an offer made to Manchester United.

It would seem unlikely that Sunderland would want to lose Januzaj at this stage and they are in a strong position because of the agreement which is in place.

However, if Januzaj indicated that he would be interested in moving to Lyon then Moyes would have to weigh up what the best move was.

Sunderland can't really afford to lose any more players and Moyes is looking to strengthen this month, even though owner Ellis Short has told him there is only limited funds available.

Januzaj's form has improved in recent matches after a stuttering start to life at the Stadium of Light.
