Sunderland have announced that part of their Premier League preparations will be a week-long trip to France.

The Black Cats will be based in the south-eastern region of the country for seven days and have three friendly games scheduled during their stay.

The trip begins with a game against FC Stade Nyonnais on Monday, July 25. Sam Allardyce’s side will face Dijon FCO on Wednesday, July 27 and the tour is capped off with a fixture against Montpellier on Saturday, July 30.

The games are being played at neutral venues and not at the home stadia of the teams involved. Stadium and ticket details will be confirmed as soon as possible.

The latest matches follow confirmation that Sunderland will play Hartlepool United on Wednesday, July 20 at Victoria Park before travelling to Saturday, Rotherham on July 23.
