SUNDERLAND defender Wes Brown will extend his stay at the Stadium of Light after agreeing a one year extension.
As revealed in The Northern Echo earlier this week, the 35-year-old has been offered the chance to stay by head coach Dick Advocaat.
The experienced defender arrived at Sunderland in 2011, joining from Manchester United. He has made over 80 appearances for the Black Cats.
