Sunderland duo make permanent switch to Blackpool
SUNDERLAND have confirmed that development players Connor Oliver and David Ferguson have joined Championship side Blackpool on a permanent deal.
Midfielder Oliver, 20, enjoyed a loan spell with Hartlepool United last season, while defender Ferguson, also 20, joined Sunderland after making first-team appearances at Darlington and has since spent time on loan with Boston United.
The pair head to Bloomfield Road and could make their Blackpool debut in tomorrow's home game with Millwall.
