SPENNYMOOR Town’s FA Trophy quarter final replay will go ahead tonight after its ground passed a pitch inspection.
The Moors will face Bromley FC at The Brewery Field stadium, Spennymoor, at 7.45pm.
Heavy rain overnight had left the match in doubt, but following an early morning inspection, the pitch has been deemed playable.
If Spennymoor Town FC can beat National League side Bromley tonight they set up a lucrative semi-final tie with either Gateshead or Leyton Orient.
Both sides have had ten days rest since the goalless draw at Hayes Lane as both had league games called off due to the bad weather.
The Moors hope to see a good home crowd as the side aims to reach the semi-finals of national competition for the first time since the historic FA Vase run in 2013.
