Marske United are now assured of fifth place in the ENL First Division after they won 3-1 at Guisborough in their local derby.

Guisborough are almost certain to finish in the bottom three, but might not be relegated because of South Shields’ promotion at the top end of the table.

Marske took the lead on 29 minutes when Adam Wheatley scored from a few yards, and they had to hang on in the second half as Guisborough piled on the pressure, with Lee Bythway hitting the bar.

But Curtis Round scored a second in the last minute of normal time, quickly followed by another from Ashley Coffey. Mattie Lovatt pulled a goal back deep into stoppage time.

Billingham Town and Billingham Synthonia drew 0-0 in their local derby, the closest either side came to scoring was when Conor Winter hit the Town post in the first half.

Consett beat Penrith 4-0 at Belle View. They took the lead after 4 minutes through Michael Sweet from a Danny Craggs free kick, then Luke Sullivan made it 2-0 from a Sweet cross.

Craggs got the third with an effort from the edge of the box before half time, and Jordan Nellis grabbed a fourth in the last minute.
