Crook Town, who were relegated from the first division last season, have appointed Gary Anderson as their new manager.
Anderson was previously assistant to Peter Mulcaster, who quit at the end of last season when chairman Ian Hirst resigned.
Anderson has also managed Tow Law, and for part of last season was also assistant manager at Esh Winning. He has also played for Guiseley, Spennymoor , Durham and Bishop Auckland.
A club statement said; "The club is confident that Gary can bring stability to the playing side and give us a competitive team that will help restore interest in the town and move the club forward. "
Vince Kirkup has since taken over as chairman from Hirst.
