Consett took the lead when Luke Sullivan scored with a header from Danny Craggs’ corner, but the Nation levelled through Dean Crozier off a rebound.

Calvin smith made it 4-1 from long range, Mackay converted a penalty and Chris Moore scored with a powerful left foot shot to make it 6-1. Aris Guerin-Lokonga scored the seventh near the end.

Dunston UTS and Newcastle Benfield drew 0-0 in a game of few chances.

The start of the game between Tow Law and Whickham was delayed for 30 minutes while snow was cleared off the pitch. Whickham won 2-0, with goals by Scott Donaldson and Chad Collins.
