Shildon moved into third place in the ENL First Division when they won 4-0 at Central Avenue tonight.
The Railwaymen took the lead after 17 minutes through Darren Craddock in a goalmouth scramble, then they went 2-0 up on half time when Paul Connor ran through and beat the Synners keeper.
Sub Marc Doninger made it 3-0 on 69 minutes when Connor cleverly dummied inside the Synners penalty area for Doninger to score from twelve yards and four minutes later Doninger fired the fourth into the top corner. Shildon are now three points behind leaders West Auckland, whom they play at Dean Street on Saturday.
