Newton Aycliffe climbed further away from the relegation zone when they came from behind to win 2-1 at West Allotment tonight.
Aycliffe missed some good early chances, but went behind after 17 minutes when Sean Reid scored from a left wing cross.
However they levelled soon after the restart when Stuart Banks played a 1-2 with Liam Henderson and fired home, then on 54 minutes Karl Boagey lobbed the keeper for the winner.
In the Durham Challenge Cup, Bishop Auckland lost to a first half Steven Aiston goal at Whickham, and Willington beat Billingham Town with a Liam Whitworth goal.
Norton came from behind to beat Wolviston. Christian Selby put Wolviston into the lead, but Norton hit back with goals by Gary Mitchell and Nicky Martin (2)
