ROLANDO AARONS has retained his place at left-back after Steve McClaren named an unchanged starting line-up for Newcastle United's game at Chelsea.
Jack Colback is available after recovering from an injury, but is only named amongst the substitutes at Stamford Bridge.
That means Aarons remaining at left-back, where he has been deputising for the injured Paul Dummett.
McClaren has named the same team that beat West Brom 1-0 last weekend, with Steven Taylor continuing to partner Fabricio Coloccini.
Emmanuel Riviere is named amongst the substitutes, alongside January signing Seydou Doumbia, who is still to make his first Newcastle start.
CHELSEA (4-2-3-1): Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Matic, Fabregas; Willian, Hazard, Pedro; Costa.
Subs: Begovic (gk), Baba, Mikel, Traore, Kenedy, Remy, Loftus-Cheek.
NEWCASTLE (4-2-3-1): Elliot; Janmaat, Taylor, Coloccini, Aarons; Tiote, Shelvey; Sissoko, Wijnaldum, Townsend; Mitrovic.
Subs: Darlow (gk), Lascelles, Colback, Saivet, Perez, Doumbia, Riviere.
