Take a look at a young attacking midfielder by the name of SONE ALUKO. He's 19, has been with Birmingham since 8 and is currently on loan at Aberdeen, who want to keep him. He's fast, skillful and has been in England U15 and U19's.

A great investment with a cracking future (and I've got nothing to do with him other than watching Aberdeen)

Newcastle needs a big squad next season we need 2 win something.Lets nt give up on Carlos Cuellar,Richard Dunne,Peter Crouch,Riise and Pennant. We will win something

Instead of a short sighted view, we need to start thinking long term. We need to look youth and the next 4-5 years rather than what we can win next year. Our youth academy should have the largest funds thrown at it and attract the best youngsters from around the globe ad maybe we can have the next ronaldo or torres

Carlos Cuellar and peter crouch should be primary targets for newcastle. Riise has had his best times i feel and doesnt have the ability on show now that he showed a few seasons ago. I agree with Keith that youth development is very important. Progression next season is obviously important but winning something i feel is not something we can achive at this stage. 3-4 years is a realistic target
