The Magpies are otherwise unchanged from Saturday with Hatem Ben Arfa keeping his place alongside Papiss Cisse and Demba Ba in attack.
Gabriel Obertan and Sylvain Marveaux return to the bench following injury and could be called upon if Pardew needs to freshen things up.
