REACTION: Rafael Benitez
NEWCASTLE suffered their first defeat since mid-September as Charlie Mulgrew's second-half strike secured Blackburn Rovers a 1-0 win at St James' Park.
The result saw the Magpies' lead at the top of the Championship table reduced to two points, and meant Rafael Benitez's side missed out on the chance to create a new club record by claiming ten successive victories.
