NEWCASTLE UNITED have made eight changes for this evening's EFL Cup third-round tie with Wolves.
Jonjo Shelvey, Matt Ritchie and Mo Diame are the only players to have retained their place from the side that lost to Wolves in the league at the weekend.
Daryl Murphy and Achraf Lazaar both make their first appearances in a Newcastle shirt after summer moves from Ipswich Town and Palermo respectively, while DeAndre Yedlin makes his first Magpies start following his switch from Spurs.
Murphy will start as a lone striker, with Ritchie and Yoan Gouffran playing on either side of Diame behind him.
Jack Colback will partner Shelvey at the base of midfield, with Grant Hanley and Ciaran Clark linking up at the heart of the back four.
Wolves boss Walter Zenga has also made eight changes from the weekend's game as he looks to achieve a second win on Tyneside in the space of four days.
