PAPISS CISSE has left Newcastle United to join Chinese Super League side Shandong Luneng.
Cisse has moved for an undisclosed fee, which is understood to be around £5m, and leaves Tyneside after spending four-and-a-half years with the Magpies.
The 31-year-old striker joined Newcastle in January 2012 from German club SC Freiburg and scored 44 goals in 131 appearances.
His best moments came in the earliest months of his Magpies career, when he scored 13 goals in his first 11 appearances in the Premier League.
He will be chiefly remembered for his magnificent long-range goal as Newcastle claimed a 2-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in May 2012.
He was a peripheral figure for much of last season, scoring on the opening day of the campaign against Southampton but going on to make just 13 more Premier League starts.
His final Newcastle goal came in April's 2-2 draw with Liverpool, while his final Magpies appearance saw him start the goalless draw with Aston Villa that confirmed the club's relegation.
