VURNON ANITA is the only new absentee as Newcastle close out a wretched campaign by welcoming high-flying Tottenham to St James' Park tomorrow.
The Magpies' relegation to the Championship has already been confirmed so manager Rafael Benitez will not risk the Dutch full-back or central midfielder, who has been playing through the pain barrier in recent weeks.
Compatriot Daryl Janmaat may therefore fill the void at right-back following his recovery from groin and hand injuries.
Goalkeepers Tim Krul and Rob Elliot (both knee) and defenders Fabricio Coloccini (calf) and Massadio Haidara (knee) remain on the sidelines.
