SHANE FERGUSON has left Newcastle United to join League One side Millwall.
The Northern Ireland international, who was due to become a free agent at the end of the season, has signed an 18-month deal at the New Den, and leaves St James’ Park for a minimal fee.
Ferguson has been on loan at Millwall since the start of the season, making 28 appearances and carving out a regular place in Neil Harris’ team.
He graduated through Newcastle’s academy to make his first-team debut in 2010’s League Cup game at Accrington Stanley, and made a total of 32 senior appearances for the Magpies.
