NEWCASTLE UNITED remain stranded in the Premier League relegation zone after they crashed to a 2-1 defeat at Watford.
However, head coach Steve McClaren claims his side performed "tremendously" at Vicarage Road, even though they were beaten by goals from Odion Ighalo and Craig Cathcart.
