Tyneside trip: Wayne Rooney will now face Newcastle on January 12
NEWCASTLE UNITED’S home date with Manchester United in January has been brought forward 24 hours.
BT Sport have chosen the game for live broadcast and will be played on Tuesday, January 12 (kick off 7.45) rather than the originally scheduled Wednesday, January 13.
Earlier this season Newcastle and Manchester United drew 0-0 at Old Trafford.
