JAK ALNWICK has almost certainly played his final game for Newcastle United after joining Bradford City on loan for the remainder of the season.
Alnwick, who made eight senior appearances for the Magpies earlier in the season when both Tim Krul and Rob Elliot were injured, replaces Jordan Pickford, who has returned to Sunderland following a loan spell of his own, at Valley Parade.
The 21-year-old is ineligible for Bradford's FA Cup quarter-final replay with Reading, having played for Newcastle in their third-round defeat to Leicester, but could feature in the play-offs if the Bantams finish in the top six of the League One table.
Alnwick's Newcastle contract is due to expire in the summer, and he will not be offered a new deal at St James' Park.
