JONNY HOWSON returns to Middlesbrough's starting line-up for this evening's Championship game with Leeds United.
Howson replaces Britt Assombalonga in the only change to the side that started last weekend's 3-3 draw with Sunderland.
With Assombalonga on the substitutes' bench, Patrick Bamford will start as a central striker as Boro look to move level on points with sixth-placed Sheffield United.
Howson, who started his career with Leeds and was a boyhood fan of the Elland Road club, will play in midfield alongside Grant Leadbitter and Mo Besic.
Leadbitter has been passed fit to start after recovering from the hamstring injury he sustained at the Stadium of Light.
