Jeff was joined by friends at Blackwell Meadows, home of Darlington FC, this morning where the group set off for Hartlepool United’s Victoria Park
Stelling, born and bred in Hartlepool, will stop off with his team of walkers at Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium en route to his hometown, getting there for about 6.30pm.
Stelling, who last year walked from Victoria Park to Wembley Stadium in two weeks, said: “Prostate Cancer kills one man every hour in the UK, and I just decided I couldn’t sit on my backside and do nothing about it. I can put one foot in front of the next and hopefully raise awareness and raise funds to help men beat this diabolical disease.

“This year’s route gives us an opportunity to go to parts of the country that we’ve not been to before and to spread the word to people who maybe didn’t hear that message as loudly last time round.”
Almost £240,000 has already been raised officially, with plenty more to come.
