Recalled Riggott's Riverside return
CHRIS RIGGOTT is back on duty at Middlesbrough after manager Gareth Southgate made the most of a clause in the terms of his loan arrangement.
The centre-back was due to figure for Stoke in tomorrow's crucial game with Leicester, which could claim a Premier League place for the Potters.
But Riggott has been recalled to the Riverside Stadium as cover for Emanuel Pogatetz, who is struggling with a calf problem ahead of Saturday's visit of Portsmouth.
The former Derby defender has not figured for Middlesbrough since the draw at Bolton in November.
He was sent out on loan to Stoke in January, where he has made nine appearances. The last three have been as a right-back in the absence of former Newcastle defender Andy Griffin.
Southgate's only other injury concern is that Robert Huth has still not recovered from a foot problem.
Goalkeepers Mark Schwarzer and Ross Turnbull are both fit again and are competing with Brad Jones for a starting role.
Striker Jeremie Aliadiere is also fit again after missing last weekend's defeat at Sunderland with a leg injury.
