I've been a Boro fan all my life seen highs and lows, managers come and gone but Boro fans like me have stayed, but not anymore. I can accept no money and less quality players, but I can not and will not accept Rubbish that comes from our current managers mouth.
I am level 2 football coach, I don't profess to know everything about football, but one quote from Southgate continually uses after most defeats is "The gave their all" this was the quote once again after the Sunderland game.
For me this response from Southgate is not good enough. What he is saying is, this is the best they can do, well sorry it isn't. I think another manager with better quality than him can get more out of the abundance of talent at the club.
I speak to Sunderland fans and they agree we have a better squad of players with more international class than they have, but on Saturday they were far better than us, Southgate said this as well. So if the club is to go forward next season then we have to remove Southgate, my choice is Tony Mowbray who does not hide behind clichés. Sorry Steve Gibson get rid or you will loose the fans and your club.

We need to invest in a new midfield to replace Rocky and Arca. Rocky has quality but the end product is not visible, arca has gone so downhill and constantly gives the ball away. We need to keep tight hold of boateng, get cattermole out on a season loan to see if he will become a footballer. O'neil should be moved inside therfore we need a right winger and we should sign Steve Sidwell to get a few goals from the middle of the park. Depending on Huths injuries we also need to look at the centre back situation. I'm renewing my season ticket but will not accept just hard work as an excuse either, i want quality.

I have heard that Sunderland are in talks with Downing's representatives - apparently Downing sees Sunderland as a big step up and is concerned that at Middlesbrough the best he can hope for is a perennial relegation scrap.
