Middlesbrough go top of the Championship with Blackpool victory
MIDDLESBROUGH went top of the Championship with a 2-1 victory against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.
Jonathan Woodgate's header looked to have won the game for Aitor Karanka's side, but Ben Gibson scored an own goal to level the scores. However, Kike popped up with a last-minute winner to take the points.
Derby and Bournemouth, who started the evening ahead of Boro in the table, drew their fixture 2-2, allowing Karanka's side to leapfrog their promotion rivals.
