KENNETH OMERUO has returned to the Middlesbrough starting line-up as one of four changes by Aitor Karanka.
Omeruo, who sat out Saturday’s win at Brighton after international duty, slots in to the back four alongside Daniel Ayala so Ben Gibson drops down to the bench.
Karanka has also decided to mix things up further forward. Spanish striker Kike and Lee Tomlin have been named among the substitutes, so Patrick Bamford and Jelle Vossen will face Wolves.
The only other change as Boro look to make it eight matches unbeaten sees Dean Whitehead come in to the midfield for Adam Clayton, who misses out with a head injury.
Wolves are looking to climb back in to the top six but know they will need to defeat third place Middlesbrough, who have eyes on top spot, to achieve their goals.
WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS (4-2-3-1): Ikeme; Doherty, Batth, Edwards, Evans; Henry, Rowe; Sako, Ebanks-Landell, McDonald; Dicko. Subs: Flatt, Golbourne, Stearman, Clarke, Sagbo, Ricketts, Jacobs.
MIDDLESBROUGH (4-2-3-1): Konstantopoulos; Fredericks, Ayala, Omeruo, Friend; Leadbitter, Whitehead; Adomah, Bamford, Reach; Vossen. Subs: Mejias (gk), Gibson, Nsue, Kike, Tomlin, Veljkovic, Wildschut.
