CRAIG Harrison has made his first signings as Hartlepool United boss, with four new players arriving..

Jake Cassidy, a 24-year-old striker, has arrived at Victoria Park. He scored eight times for Guiseley last season in the National League.

Midfielder Luke George has moved from Chester City and attacking midfielder Jack Munns has signed from Cheltenham Town.

And Harrison completed his work for the day with the capture of goalkeeper Scott Loach.

Harrison has already signed centre forward Cassidy once, as he picked him up for Airbus UK in the League of Wales.

He has also played for Wolves and scored 16 times for Tranmere in 2012/13 in League Two. Cassisdy has 28 goals to his name in 135 league games.

George has turned down a new deal at Chester, where he has been for two seasons, after spending the previous two campaigns with Southport. He has been skipper at both.

Munns was part of Cheltenham's National League winning side 12 months ago, scoring eight times and topping the club's assist chart.

Loach has been released by Notts County, and spent the end of last season with York City. He spent six seasons at Watford from 2006-12 making 154 appearances, which included a call up to the England squad.
