TOTO Nsiaia, the big Hartlepool United defender, is on his way to Shrewsbury.
Signed in the summer from Grimsby, the centre-half is to be reunited with his old Mariners' boss Paul Hirst at the League One club after the clubs agreed a fee in the region of £25,000.
Nsisla has suffered an error-ridden time at the Northern Gas and Power Stadium and has been sent-off twice in 25 appearances, scoring once.
Pools go to Accrington on Monday and hope Matthew Bates will be fit after he missed Friday's win over Morcambe with a back injury.
"I didn't want to lose him when I was at my previous club but he went elsewhere and I've watched his career with interest", boss Hurst said.
"He's certainly someone I think very highly of, hence the reason why we've brought him here. He's got a lot of good attributes, he's a good person and I think he's someone who can step up the levels and be a big asset for this football club.''
