HARTLEPOOL UNITED have bolstered their squad with the arrival of young defender Adam Jackson joining from Middlesbrough.
The 21-year-old has signed on a one-month loan and he will go straight in to the squad for Saturday’s FA Cup tie against Cheltenham Town, subject to the necessary clearance.
Jackson, a centre-back, has come through the ranks at the Riverside Stadium and has captained the club’s Under-21 side on occasions.
In September the Darlington-born defender was on loan with Coventry City, but did not make an appearance for Tony Mowbray's side.
