HARTLEPOOL UNITED: Supporters have until 4pm today to take advantage of reduced season ticket prices.

Pools broke past the 3000 barrier yesterday for sales, ahead of this afternoon’s early bird deadline.

Luke Pilcher, 26, a joiner from Bishop Cuthbert in the town was the 3,000 sale.

“I got home about halfway through last season so I guess I saw the best bit!” he laughed.

“I don’t really know what to expect for the coming season with ten new signings coming in but anyone can beat anyone in this league so I am cautiously optimistic about our chances!”

Adult tickets rise from £250 to £295 after today’s cut-off point.

Tickets for Pools’ trip to York City - the club's first League Two away game of the campaign on Saturday, August 15 - go on sale to season ticket holders at 10am on Monday from the club ticket office.
