RONNIE MOORE is certain new loan signing Aaron Tshibola will improve his own game and the fortunes of Hartlepool United.
Signed on Friday, the midfielder made a decent debut the next day as Pools lost at Wycombe Wanderers.
He offered some energy to midfield and Moore, who has handed midfielder Nicky Featherstone a month’s extension to his contract, said: “Tish in there will learn, I’ve watched him run the show for Reading against Bolton and he will learn and improve during his time with us.’’
Tshibola, 20, and a former England under-18 midfielder admitted: “I enjoyed my debut, it was really good.
"It was a lot different to playing reserve football but I thought we did well and worked hard.
"It isn't easy to come here and play the way we did.
"We showed a lot of character and it was unfortunate to lose 1-0.
"We could have nicked a point at the end and we would have been buzzing with a draw.
"You have to stay in games and for a young defence I thought we hung in there well.
"If we had nicked it I would have backed us to go and win the game.’’
He added: "I joined the team on Friday afternoon for training, trained with the lads and come straight in to play.
"It was a big job but it is something that I relished. I am enjoying it so far.
"It doesn't frighten me coming to a team bottom of the league.
"With the work ethic and spirit we showed against Wycombe I am confident we can do well and start climbing the table.’’
