LOAN deals for Charlie Wyke and Scott Harrison at extend their stays at Hartlepool United will be arranged this week.
The pair, from Middlesbrough  and Sunderland respectively, are likely to remain at Pools for the 93 days permitted under Football League rules.
Wyke missed the defeat at Plymouth after being concussed at Northampton last week, while Harrison played, but was culpable for the second goal as he seemed to play scorer Nathan Thomas onside.
Pools now have successive home games in League Two and boss Colin Cooper said: “Hopefully Scott and Charlie’s loans are extended for the full duration to take them to 93 days.
“Scott is done, Charlie will be next week to make sure it’s in place and then see where we go.
“They are both keen to be here, I am both for them to stay.’’
Harrison, in his second spell at Pools after appearing at the end of last season, said: “It is a steep learning curve.
“I am here to learn, it is a tough league but that is why I am here.
“That is what will make me better though, learning what it is about and growing into it.
“The physicality of the league is totally different to the Under-21s.
“It doesn’t really compare to be honest. Everything is much more phsyical.
“The Under-21s is too physical and you can get away with certain things and don’t really get bullied off the ball.
“Whereas here, everything is a battle.
“I feel like I am getting used to it but the last week has been disappointing.
“I know I am a lot better than that and I need to cut that out of my game.
“You have to fully concentrate all of the time otherwise you will get punished.”
