Darlington's match at Mansfield Town today has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

The game was called of following a 9.30am pitch inspection at Field Mill by local referee Russell Booth.

Although the playing surface had been covered since Monday, temperatures had plummeted to around -7c overnight leaving the pitch unplayable.

Darlington have instead arranged a frinedly this afternoon with Spennymoor Town to be played at Peterlee College (2pm kick-off) where there are all-weather pitches available.

Spennymoor are available as their match at Newcastle Benfield has been postponed.
