DARLINGTON will wear yellow away from home next season after supporters chose the colour in an online poll this week.
With over 1,100 votes cast it received 61.4 per cent of the votes and was picked ahead of sky blue, the players and coaching staff having whittled the selection down to two.
Puma will manufacture the kit having recently agreed a three-year deal with Darlington, while the shirt sponsors are Newton Aycliffe-based Ebac.
While Quakers have worn yellow in the past, it is a colour they have not used since 2009-10 and before then it was the away strip in 2003-04.
Darlington’s season ends in a fortnight and they have five fixtures remaining, starting tomorrow at FC United of Manchester.
