Scott Fenwick, the former Hartlepool United striker, has left Darlington by mutual consent.
After being freed by York City at the end of last season, Fenwick played in pre-season for Quakers and impressed enough to earn a contract.
However, after failing to break into Martin Gray’s starting XI, the club and player have now parted company.
