TWO more players have committed themselves to Quakers by signing new contracts.
Liam Marrs and Dave Syers have today both agreed two-year deals.
Both joined the club in 2016 and were regulars in Martin Gray’s team last season, Marrs being the first-choice right-back until an ankle injury curtailed his first year with the club.
While former Doncaster Rovers midfielder Syers was among Gray’s favoured midfielders, the Yorkshireman becoming a regular scorer.
Marrs and Syers take the tally of players to have signed new contracts since the end of last season to seven following Gary Brown, Kevin Burgess, Phil Turnbull, Nathan Cartman and Mark Beck.
And the news comes a day after Dom Collins became Gray’s first summer signing, the centre-back arriving after being released by AFC Fylde.
