TICKETS go on general sale this evening for Darlington’s home match on Saturday.

Following the Boxing Day homecoming against FC Halifax Town, the game this weekend against Nuneaton Town will be Quakers’ second at Blackwell Meadows.

The fixture has been made all-ticket, and they went on sale on two days ago with members of the Darlington Supporters Group (DFCSG) given priority.

DFCSG members can also purchase them this morning from 10am-1pm at the Dolphin Centre.

A football club statement read: “We expect demand to be very high and the club is keen to reward the loyalty of its fans who are members of the Supporters Group.”

Remaining tickets go on general sale between 6pm-8pm this evening and also tomorrow 10am-1pm.

Each person will be entitled to purchase up to two adult and two child tickets.

The visit of 14th–placed Nuneaton is the first of consecutive Saturdays for Darlington on their new home territory, with Gloucester City visiting the following weekend.

Nuneaton, managed by former Darlington striker Tommy Wright, have been given 100 tickets for Saturday’s fixture.

* Harrogate Town yesterday announced they will become a full-time club next season.

The National League North club are currently tenth, ten points adrift of Darlington, and last summer installed a 3G pitch at their ground.

Boss Simon Weaver said: “We have spoken about if for a while, but now we have the infrastructure in place to make this step up. We already have a professional mindset here, and I want every player to also have that mentality of being a full-time footballer.”

League leaders AFC Fylde went full-time in the summer.
