DARLINGTON will play at home against either Marine or St Neots Town in the FA Trophy.

The draw for the third qualifying round was made today and saw Quakers handed what could well be their final ever match at Heritage Park.

The tie is due to be played on Saturday, November 26. Bishop Auckland were to play at home to Washington that day, but Quakers say their landlords will move their fixture.

A week later Darlington hope to play their first game at Blackwell Meadows, against Salford City.

Various bodies must give their approval first - the FA hold a ground inspection this week - but if they give the thumbs up then the FA Trophy tie will be Darlington's 108th and final game at HP (109 including their first match there when they were classed as the away team against Bishop Auckland).

Marine were one of only two teams to win at Darlington last season, recording a 1-0 victory in October, but Quakers won the return fixture in January with Kevin Burgess scoring the only goal of the game.

They are 15th in the Evo-Stik Premier League Premier Division - one division below Quakers - while St Neots Town are 17th and remain at the same level, the Southern League Premier Division, they were when they defeated Darlington in the Trophy two years ago.

They met in November 2014 when Liam Hatch made a rare start, but was sent off inside the first ten minutes and Darlington went on to lose the tie in Cambridgeshire 3-1.

Marine travel to St Neots Town for a replay tomorrow evening, the sides having drawn 1-1 on Saturday.
