TWO of Darlington’s first fixtures in the Vanarama National League North have changed date, one home and one away.
Their scheduled home game with Chorley, to be played at Heritage Park, has been moved from Tuesday, August 9, to Wednesday, August 24.
Quakers’ midweek home games this season will be on Wednesdays instead of Tuesdays.
Bishop Auckland’s pitch has been re-laid this summer, and moving Chorley’s visit means Quakers’ first home game of the season will now be against Boston United on Saturday, August 13.
The other change is the trip to Gloucester City, which has been put back 24 hours to Sunday, August 21.
This change is due to Gloucester’s landlords, Cheltenham Town, being at home on the Saturday.
Darlington do not have a pre-season friendly tomorrow, they are next in action on Tuesday at Billingham Synthonia before playing two games at The Northern Echo Arena: Newcastle United on July 16 and Sunderland on July 19.
