DARLINGTON’S wait for a league game continues as their match with Grantham Town has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
An inspection held at Heritage Park at 8:30 this morning deemed the Heritage Park pitch to be waterlogged – the second home game in succession Quakers have lost to the weather.
Their match with Buxton a fortnight ago was also called off, so Martin Gray’s side have not played a league fixture since October 24.
They hope to return to action next Saturday when they travel to Barwell.
