HARTLEPOOL United have offered to visit Darlington to play a fund-raising game in aid of the striken Quakers.
Pools chief executive Russ Green revealed that Pools last week made an approach to the Quakers with a view to organising a friendly for their local rivals in the first week of February, with all proceeds going to the Conference club.
"We'd be delighted to send a team over there and play a friendly to hopefully help them raise some funds,'' Pools chief executive Russ Green explained.
