Sunderland striker extends loan spell

SUNDERLAND striker Jordan Cook has extended his loan spell at Carlisle United until Saturday, March 10.

The 21 year-old initially joined Greg Abbott's side during last month's transfer window and has featured in all four of the Cumbrians' League One games since.

Cook has previously had loan spells with Darlington and Walsall. He made his Premier League debut for Sunderland as a substitute against Manchester United at Old Trafford in December 2010.
